A wood fence goes grey within a couple of seasons, and once moisture gets in it starts to cup, crack and grow mildew at the base. We wash cedar and pine fences at a pressure that cleans without splintering the boards, brighten the wood back to its natural colour, and — if you want it protected — finish it with the same penetrating sealer-stain we use on decks. Vinyl fences get a soft wash to take off the green film.
